Say What You Mean by Em Influenced by Alternative Pop Artist Lorde Now on YouTube

Say What You Mean, the new single from New Jersey singer/songwriter Em, is out now on all streaming platforms. This song is very much inspired by alternative pop artist Lorde in regards to the emotional storytelling it possesses. Em says its all about wanting someone to love her with every fiber of their being. How romantic is that? Watch it for yourself on YouTube.

Ems new single Say What You Mean is the lead off her latest EP. Hopeless romantics everywhere are going to want to give it a listen, as its very sensual and poetic. Its a pop song that talks about the heart and soul of all relationships. The mesmerizing video shot by Parris Mayhew accompanies the song perfectly, with beautiful and supernatural imagery. The video matches the song effortlessly, which you can listen to on Spotify here.

I feel the song is a universal message and represents the ethereal, emotional side of my writing, Em states. Im a huge romantic and 100% in when Im in a relationship. Besides Lorde, Em finds inspiration from many other great female artists who write about love as well, such as Carly Simon, Stevie Nicks, Alanis Morrissette, and P!nk. You can listen to the track to your Apply Music Playlist here.

Em is already preparing her next album, Embrace: Heaven on Earth. Shell be working with former Motown songwriter/producer Michael B. Sutton (Michael Jackson, Diana Ross, Smokey Robinson). Were looking forward to it.
