Seeking Musicians In The Entire State of Massachusetts (SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY! No Fakes Or Wannabes!)

Description:

As of right now, I'm currently seeking five talented musicians who are either BDSM/LGBTIQQA oriented or friendly to our community or both. This is a description of what my solo project is all about at the provided links:

Christina Autumn Taylor On ReverbNation
reverbnation.com/christinataylormusic

Christina Taylor Official Tumblr Blog
christytaylormusic.tumblr.com

The aforementioned musicians I'm seeking are as followed:

A lead guitarist

A rhythm/backing guitarist with potential abilities in background vocals

A bassist/background vocalist

A drummer/percussionist

A technical/electronics artist who specializes in turntables, synthesizer, keyboards, samplings, pads, SFX, etc. and able to provide background vocals but not necessary.

Age limit is 18-40 (but not necessarily an actual limit. My fan heat graph on ReverbNation says I got fans from ages 18-60. Bizarre eh? There's 50-60 ish year old folks listening to my Metal/Rock music. Lol)

All genders/sexual orientations are welcome to audition for this lineup.

The genres we play are:

Hard Rock, Acoustic Rock, Alternative, Nu-Metal, Hardcore, Post Hardcore, Metal, Death Metal, Queercore, Punk Rock, Rap/Rock, Melodic Metalcore, RiotGrrl Rock, Anarchist Rap-Rock, Electronica-Rock, Heavy Metal, Gothic Rock/Metal, Symphonic Metal, Romantic New Wave, Grunge, Post Grunge, GrungeGoth, Alternative Singer-songwriter, Electro-Industrial, Industrial Metal, Thrash Metal and Fetish Metal. It's a crossover band, mixing all the genres and its subgenres, doing things no one has ever done in music history.

We're breaking all the rules, violate the world with brutal honesty and ending corruption and unify a broken society/community, and of course, having fun while shutting down drama and deception in our community. All the lyrics are written by me and will be sung by me, and I do play a few instruments myself. So if you're interested, do feel free to reply.

How to submit letter of inquiry:

You can submit an online demo kit of your best musical abilities (covers/originals) with a online email style letter, with your age, demographic background (such as gender/sexual orientation, height, DOB, etc.) on it and also explaining your interests, influences, your style(s), your musical background/history/training/education, etc. (If any) with your contact information, a photo of yourself, best time of day to reach you and a mailing address for us to mail you a letter of acceptance or rejection, depending on who we choose, along with a package of content that'll help you grasp the concept of what we'll be doing together, especially when we have a new album to work on.

My management team and I will review all applications and reply in an timely manner. If you do receive a letter of acceptance, that means you'll be given instructions in said letter of where the callback auditions will be held, when and what to prepare for.

Those who receive a rejection letter will get a care package from yours truly of freebies, some really good goodies, and an opportunity to audition at callbacks, should the others who appeared and failed or haven't appeared or any conflicts arise, you'll be automatically selected among a new lineup of what we call backup callbacks musicians until the five has been selected officially.

Below is the following contact information and description of what to send.

Contact info:

christinataylormusic@gmail.com

Send in the aforementioned contents but all demos of original songs or cover songs must be submitted in Mp3 format, no exception.

If not able to submit an electronic version of this application, at least mail a typed out letter documented as aforementioned with a CD (can be burned with your musical abilities onto it, can be fancy, can have artwork on it, etc.) in a jewel style CD case, along with a photo of yourself, so we know who we're talking to come callbacks time (MUST BE APPROPRIATE and non explicit photo of yourself) to the following address:

Christina Autumn Taylor

ATTN: Musician Auditions

35 Congress Street Suite 204

C/O Matthew Castiglione

Salem, Massachusetts 01970 (my mailing address since I can't provide my physical address for confidentiality reasons)

That'll be all.

Namaste,

Christina Autumn Taylor

Singer-songwriter/Musician/Artist

P.S., the new album will be recorded at Northfire Recording in Western Massachusetts, so the audition process via online and mail has an deadline, which is November 5th, 2014. The deadline can be extended and the recording sessions rescheduled, by hosting in person auditions at an yet to be determined location here in Massachusetts until further notice.

Blessed Be,

Christy Taylor.

*(Updates on Progress):*

Let's see, we got a new studio album to work on, starting October 2014-February 2015.

Luckily, because the studio rates are so affordable at Northfire Recording in Amherst, Massachusetts, we get a very, very flexible recording schedule. We're looking at maybe, two-three days a week for possibly 4-6 hours per day. The album has already been planned out regarding lyrics, the kind of sound we're going for, etc.

Unfortunately, this is nothing like many bands has already done in the past. We're breaking all the rules, rewrite history, make history and set the bar so high, no one will ever duplicate or try to imitate what we're about to do for years to come. We're doing things no one else has done before.

Now, we're still looking for musicians, but luckily, they have studio musicians already, but if you join my project, you can be in as long you want or be a temporary spot, etc. That's why it's called a solo project. It's like Trent Renzor with his NIN project or Amy Lee of Evanescence; they're singer-songwriter artists with musicians they consider a support group to express themselves with instead of an actual band, except my solo project is a group of musicians who's a support group to help me express my feelings, my thoughts, my experiences, my point of view, etc. with, but somewhere along the lines of a full-time band as well.

In the past, I've changed musicians a lot, but now I want to be able to try to have a stable band lineup that I look forward to working with from time to time in the studio, rehearsals, live performances or on tour; people I can trust, ya know what I'm saying?

This album is an 4-part album, and I've already talked to the people at Northfire Recording. They've been very, very welcoming and kind to me so far, and I look forward to meeting them in September for a studio tour, making the arrangements to schedule specific times and days of the week to record the album. And by 4-part album, I mean 12 songs on each CD all in one album. Here's the idea of what the recording schedule will look like:

12 songs on 4 CDs = An detailed full-length, storyline driven album, and no, it's NOT an concept album. It's an true album, based on true stories of my life, personal experiences, point of view on today's world, its broken society, etc. It's very much anti-political, obviously, but on a first and third person point of view. The personal stuff is from my life and the people involved. Like i.e., relationship issues, heartbreak, my Gender Dysphoria, my domestic violence/rape crisis past as a victim/survivor, BDSM/kink, family dysfunction/violence, etc. I want to be able to cover every single issue to talk about, even the most taboo topics, on a very empathetic level, because I've been through what most people wouldn't be able to survive at such an young age, and I'm almost 26 now.

The thing about it is, we're NOT doing what others has already done. I can't stress that enough. We're going one step further with the music we're about to make. Now, with this potential recording schedule, we're looking at 2-4 songs completed per week. Luckily, we don't have an actual deadline for the album release date. This project is an underground/independent project. I have a team of photographers, filmmakers, album art direction team, a band manager, studio musicians, a team of producers/engineers, etc., all at Northfire Recording and my own independent label I started years ago that's currently rebuilding its own new recording studio facility at a new location, except in Massachusetts this time, since my original studio in Texas was burnt to the ground in 2010 in that nasty wildfire in Central Texas. You might have heard about it on the news. A lot of people lost their homes in that fire, myself included.

Plus, I never liked Texas anyway. Too cliquey lol.

If we stick with that kind of schedule, we might finish the album by New Year's Eve 2014, instead of finishing in February 2015. We also work with another studio in Alabama (occasionally) known as Sound Damage Productions, when money gets tight, and we're sponsored by a tattoo/piercings shop in Illinois (not Chicago), ReverbNation, Guitar Center, Musician's Friend, Mr. Music on Harvard Avenue near Commonwealth Avenue in Boston, a few Wiccan/Pagan shops in Salem, Massachusetts and an independent/underground music magazine, as well Gothic/Punk/Alternative/Grunge/Skateboard clothing labels and a few BDSM/fetish toy shops (both online and at its physical locations) regarding merchandise and gear we endorse and use on stage, at home, in the studio, on tour, on the road, etc. and we support a few charity organizations. And just so no one here get confused about the "being sponsored by BDSM/fetish toy shops", we meant we endorse the stuff we buy from them, they don't sponsor us. Simple as that. Everyone else, we're sponsored by, because we endorse using their services and gear and supplies, etc.

I invite you to come with me to see for yourself at our studio tour September 8th, 2014, at 2 p.m., to see what we're all about at Northfire Recording and what we're trying to accomplish. I'll give you the address of the studio location, and you can either stop by on your own via Greyhound or something, or we can pick you up, etc. But remember this: if you're gonna commit to this project, you gotta pay your half of the studio fees. It's $45/hour with apprentice engineers or $60/hour with a professional engineering team for studio time, and we pay cash, credit, debit and checks. Luckily, because it's a flexible schedule, we pay at the end of the week or the end of the day, or if we decide to pay at a specific date when the album is completed, they'll let us pay at that date. However, studio musicians are hourly as well, something I'll take care of at full price, or if negotiable, pay your part of studio musicians and production services fees, if say, only two of you who replied to this ad are 120% committed, but the official lineup is still yet to be filled, so we hire studio musicians to fill the remaining spots until auditions are complete. There's an 10-hour day block deal for only $550/day and that's not bad at all. We do have to make an $50 deposit to schedule the recording sessions before starting, and they let us pay the studio time fees and studio musicians fees after it's finished, so it's definitely affordable. For more information on Northfire Recording, check out this [site][http://northfirerecording.com/styled/index.html] and for more information on Sound Damage Productions in Alabama, check out [Sound Damage Productions On Facebook][https://www.facebook.com/StudioDamageMusicProduction] and [The Official Sound Damage Productions Website Provided By Wix.com][http://mitch-carden.wix.com/studiodamage]

Our photography and art direction team are Gwenn Pratt (who's also the official band manager), Chris Addams and one other woman named Krystle Wheelbarrow (did I get that last name right? I'll find out later. She's also one of the future merchandise models to show off our ****). You can find them all at:

And our official Tattoo/Piercings Shop located in Marengo, Illinois (Our official artist is usually Nikki Schultz and our official piercing professional usually varies, but I recommend TJ Krueger, if I got the name right) at this link:

Very LGBTIQQA and BDSM friendly. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!

Our CD Manufacturing agency is most likely Oasis Manufacturing possibly, and our merchandise manufacturers are T-Shirt Junkie, Sticker Junkie and VistaPrint. Usually, we get our funding ourselves, and obviously we use IndieGoGo and Kickstarter for helping us fund our recording sessions, musicians, musical instruments, touring fees, ReverbNation fees, etc., and about 20-50% of proceeds go to two-four charities we choose to support from our fundraising campaigns. Of course, the perks we offer to our people who donates to our project are usually autographs, free signed copies of an album, free concert tickets to our show(s), free merchandise (depending on what is available to us), etc. if they donate a certain amount of money.

For example, donate $10, and you get a thank you letter, a few stickers and a free t-shirt shipped to you. Donate $20, and you get all that, plus a free copy of an album. See where I'm going with this? Cool, huh?

Also, when the album is released after completion, we're gonna want to do some promotion, play a few gigs here and there in Massachusetts until we've gained enough exposure, submit to opportunities on ReverbNation for radio play, concert performance slots, touring spots, etc., and do music videos, obviously.

Once our new studio is completed and built to perfection, we'll be hiring our new team of studio experts straight out of Berklee School of Music, Musician's Institute in Los Angeles and any music school that has potential graduates looking for jobs, internships, etc. in the music business. When we've gained more exposure, do more albums on our own, etc., we'll donate to more charities, including charities to keep music programs in middle/junior high schools and high schools and elementary schools everywhere, as well charities that's very close to our hearts such as funding for breast cancer research, HIV/AIDS foundations, mental health, rape/domestic violence, poverty/hungry kids, LGBTIQQA youth charities, Guitars, Not Guns charities, Red Cross, Disaster Relief funds, homeless shelters (the very good ones, not the bad ones), the community in Ferguson, Missouri, who's suffered a lot after the Mike Brown incident, Make A Wish Foundation, Aaron Lewis from Staind's very own Catch A Dream Foundation, Hot Topic Music Foundation, etc., because we care. We're giving back to those who has given us so much, and I made a promise a long time ago that I don't intend to break. We're also donating to the blind, deaf and developmentally disabled community as well.

Think about it. This project you're about to join, could change your life, forever.

Blessed Be,

Christy Taylor.
