On Saturday, May 11, 2013, the Queensborough Performing Arts Center (QPAC, www.visitQPAC.org) will present "NYC's Rising Stars," an event showcasing students from New York's most prestigious performing arts schools. This annual fundraiser not only provides a professional environment for students of Julliard, Manhattan School of Music, American Ballet Theatre, NYU, etc. to share their talents with the community, but also provides networking opportunities with agents as well as exposure in the press and on publicity sites (website, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube), managed by QPAC.

If you are a student interested in performing on May 11, 2013, please submit a brief description of yourself, including contact info, information about your particular discipline (dance, vocal, instrumental, etc.), what school you attend or are an alumnus of, etc. If possible, please submit a digital version of a headshot and resume and any materials that demonstrate your performance skills (Youtube, mp3, etc). Those selected from submissions will be contacted to set up an audition appointment. There are six (6) fifteen minute spots available. The first 6 who audition and qualify will be invited to perform. We are looking to represent as many of New York's performing arts schools (and students) as possible.

AT THIS TIME, WE ARE ESPECIALLY LOOKING FOR INSTRUMENTALISTS (CLASSICAL, JAZZ, ETC) AND DANCERS (BALLET, TAP, ETC). Submit materials to VTicali@qcc.cuny.edu
Call (718) 631-6311 if you require more information.

No Pay / No Fee
